 ** "Padma Hot" yoga is designed to honor those who have a passion for "hot" yoga and also honor the body as well by allowing the "natural" warming  through gentle movements in the beginning of class
giving you insight to where you may need to pay special attention to areas of the body that may have injury so as not to injure yourself further or stretch too far.  
 
The "natural" warming is more beneficial. You are less likely to experience injury because the body mind becomes more aware and is not "fooled" into thinking all is "OK" due the the artificial warming in the beginning from high heat.
 
Class will begin at a moderate temperature of 75* and as we center and "naturally" warm the body the temperature will climb to 90* or above for the asana practice.
 
 As we begin the slow flow, deep breathing and holding of postures, the body releases toxins and impurities through sweating and focus becomes deeper.
 
Class is 90 minutes long.  Wear appropriate clothing to allow for the intensity of the heated room.  Layers are suggested. Bring a towel for your sticky mat ( we have sticky mats here for your use but not towels or special mats) if you don't have a special mat for hot yoga. Also bring a smaller towel for your body.  
 
 **Hydration is extremely important so bring water to drink during the class and also hydrate yourself before and after class.
 
 ** There is no age limit for hot yoga,  however, this class is not recommended for those who have blood pressure issues, are on medications or have other health issues that are aggravated by high temperatures.
